For single family homes in 34953, the numbers from March to August 2026 still lean toward sellers. There were 3.79 months of supply, and homes that sold went for a median of 99 percent of their asking price. But about 3 in 10 listings that ended did not sell, so price and preparation matter.
What do the numbers say right now?
Here is what my MLS shows for single family homes in Port St. Lucie 34953.
- 115 homes sold in August 2026, at a median of $415,000.
- Buyers paid a median of 99 percent of the asking price.
- Homes that sold took a median of 35 days.
- 415 homes were for sale on September 24, 2026, on the market a median of 68 days.
Is it a seller's market in 34953?
Over six months, March to August 2026, there were 3.79 months of supply. That is a strong seller's market. Fewer homes for sale than buyers need means good homes move.
So why do some homes not sell?
From March to August 2026, 30.7 percent of listings that ended did not sell. They expired, were cancelled, or were withdrawn. In August, the homes that expired were asking a median of $501,900. The homes that sold were asking a median of $422,000.
A strong market does not sell a home that is priced too high. That is the lesson.

- Know what homes like yours sold for, not what they are asking.
- Get the home ready: clean, fix the small things, let the light in.
- Know what you will walk away with after costs.
- Have a plan for your next home before you sign.
